Effective damage prevention communication to the various stakeholder audiences can be very challenging. There are many ways to accomplish this, whether it be through annual mailings, door hangers, tv/print advertising campaigns, etc. In addition to the baseline messages outlined in RP 1162, Public Awareness Programs include "supplemental" programs as part of their overall damage prevention program. Many companies are searching for new and innovative ways to present these supplemental programs. This session will explore the various types of supplemental programs currently in use, and will encourage discussion regarding new and existing programs in the market
