Locator Training Workshop

Accurate locating is crucial to damage prevention. This workshop will explore the principles of locating, the role locating pays in safe excavation, and includes hands-on use of locating equipment.

The first portion of the workshop includes classroom training on locating basics. This is followed by 2-3 hours of hands-on training with a variety of equipment in different settings.

Several locator manufacturers will provide equipment and tips on how to get an accurate locate, including using ground penetrating radar (GPR). Whether you locate for a living, or work with locating personnel, you will benefit from seeing and using the latest in locating technology.
